Third Annual STEEL THUNDER ON ROUTE 66
Steel Thunder on Route 66 is our annual event to celebrate our community, our Veterans and the heritage of Route 66! Each year the event gets bigger and attracts more participants. This year we have expanded the activities and include a full blown music festival at the Landreth Park Pavilion. We have great food vendors, retail vendors and provider tables to help share information on available resources in our community. We have also partnered with Heartland Canines For Veterans and will have a Service K9 Team Demonstration and help raise funds for this amazing nonprofit organization!

This year is our biggest yet and we've moved to Landreth Park in Joplin to accommodate all the activities! The Car Show will begin at 10:30 AM and run until trophies are announced at 4:30 PM. The Music Festival will begin at 4:30 and run until Dark. Vendors will be available all day. A full itinerary will be published before the event.
